8th National Symposium on Heritage Language Teaching, May 13-15, 2021: Adrienne will be part of a panel called “Teaching Spanish Heritage Learners Online: Challenges and Possibilities” Friday, May 13th, 3:00-4:20PM EST.

SWCOLT 2021 – March 25-27, 2021, Virtual: We will be presenting LIVE a session called “Using Narrative Writing to Center Student Voice in the Heritage Classroom.” We will be presenting Saturday, 3/27, from 3:45-4:30PM EST! Join us!

Comprehended! Virtual conference, February 13-May 16, 2021. This conference is for all language teachers, and focuses on teaching with comprehensible input. Adrienne is presenting a session called “One Teacher’s Journey into Beginning Antiracist Work in a Level 1 Class.” The session is pre-recorded. This conference is unique in that it is very affordable and you can pick how long you’d like to access the content.
CCFLT Spring 2021 Conference – February, 2021, Virtual: We are co-presenting a session on narrative writing in the heritage classroom, and Adrienne is doing a session on anti-racist work (for beginners) in a regular Spanish class. Both of our sessions are pre-recorded. If you register, you will have access to all content until December 31st, 2021.


MCTLC 2020 – November 7-8, 2020, VIRTUALLY. Adrienne will co-facilitate a workshop for the heritage strand with Marta Silva Serrano, and also present a session on reading workshop in the heritage classroom.

CCFLT 2020 – Loveland, Colorado – we will be presenting an encore presentation of the workshop we did at MCTLC 19: Digging In: Taking Your Heritage Classes to the Next Level.
Comprehensible Online 2020 – We are presenting three sessions this year! This conference is completely online, you can watch the 100+ sessions from March-May, and the registration cost goes up after January 15th! Our sessions this year are: Classroom Management Tips and Tricks for Heritage Classes, Bootcamp for Heritage Teachers, and Serving Heritage Students in Mixed classes.
